Bantay Kita will be partnering with the local government unit of Compostela Valley to organize a technical working group workshop on ancestral domain revenue code to be applied to all five (5) ancestral domains in the province The event will be held on November 10-12 to be attended by at least fifty participants to be composed of tribal leaders and officials from the local government and NCIP. The workshop aims to draft the Ancestral Domain Revenue Code ideally enshrining transparency and accountability mechanisms in revenue collection and fund allocation and utilization by the LGU. This is to ensure that revenues collected are monitored and are utilized for the development of the ancestral domains.
